Libby Seamans

Libby is an accomplished Executive with 30+ years experience in the business environment. She has extensive experience in Business, Private, and Retail Banking, and Brokerage activities, having strong knowledge of the Legal, Medical, Material Handling, and Construction Industry segments. During her tenure as Head of Private Banking for Sterling Bank, she developed a 3-year expansion plan, implementing the core principles of the HEM, increasing revenue by double-digits the first full quarter. As the Business Segment Executive for North and Central Texas for BBVA Compass, her scope of responsibility included overall Business Banking results through 20 Business Banking Officers and 18 District Managers of a 200 branch network across five cities. She gained broad knowledge and experience with B2B sales/consulting as the Business Banking Regional Sales Manager, and the National Small Business Program Manager while with Compass Bank. As Rental Manager for Crown Lift Trucks she grew the rental fleet from 10 units to 100 units in the first year with 80–95 percent utilization by implementing a scalable methodology. Her role as National Sales Coordinator for Mitsubishi, and Sales Coordinator for independent Clark Dealerships, provided opportunities to enhance logistics/inventory management and streamline the overall sales process, squeezing every ounce of profit out of each and every deal. Libby lends her expertise and leadership to help organizations cultivate exceptional individuals to deliver superior products at optimal efficiency (HEM). An innovative professional with strong vision, and the tenacity to bring vision to life. John Hamrick

Hamrick is widely recognized as an innovative financial executive. He has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting as Controller and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for banks and thrifts from $500 million to $20 billion in assets, and from 15 to 150 banking centers. He is adept at working across functional areas and multiple organizational levels, from Board of Directors and executives to business line leaders to bring understanding of the financial impact of decisions, and support sound management planning. John has a BA degree from the University of Kansas, and completed the IFE Graduate School of Community Bank Management program held at the University of Texas. He is currently on the FP&A Editorial Advisory Board for the Association of Financial Professionals and is a founding member of the Houston FP&A Group.

Debbie Hankins
Sr. Regulatory and Compliance Consultant, and Audit Division Director

Hankins has twenty-nine years experience in financial reporting, statement preparation, accounting, compliance, budgeting, and audit, with specific expertise in understanding and adhearing to regulatory policies and procedures for mutual funds, and REITs.  As Senior Finacial Analyst, and Funds’ Compliance Officer for a $20 billion Insurance Company and an Investment Advisory Company with 19 mutual funds, Hankins prepared Annual Statements (including 10-Ks & 10-Qs), Prospectuses, and Statements of Additional Information for Variable – Separate Accounts. Additionally, she had oversight for filing the Funds’ regulatory documents (prospectuses, N-SAR, N-CSR, N-Q, etc.), as well as oversight of audits, and all regulatory examinations by the SEC. Hankins holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Houston at Clear Lake, Clear Lake, TX

Robyn Brend

Senior HR Consultant and Benefits Director

Brend has 30+ years’ experience in human resources, with over 15 years of specific expertise in benefits and payroll management. She has extensive knowledge of HR Systems Implementations/Conversions, Mergers/Acquisitions, SOX Compliance and Budget Management, and has worked with both Regional and Super Regional banks in critical HR management positions. Her accomplishments includes the creation of a comprehensive employee benefits program, and a payroll and HRIS system for a workforce that grew from 300 to 2,400 employees, as well as the successful integration of benefits and payroll from six acquisitions in Houston and Dallas markets. Additionally, she developed and managed the benefits and payroll Sarbanes Oxley control environments resulting in high internal control scores which exceeded federal reporting standards.
