Should some Houston-area banks lend more?  That’s a tough question, especially given the common answers.  Small businesses say it’s too tough to get a loan. Banks say a good loan is hard to find. With interest rates so low, loans aren’t bringing in the same income they were before the economic recession. And many businesses are so flush with cash they don’t need expansion debt — although they’re far more productive than during the recession, many say economic uncertainty has them waiting on pins to decide whether to expand or not.
